Tips for Crocheting Ornaments
The main materials you will need for a crochet Christmas tree ornament are your crochet hook and yarn (of course!), a yarn needle for weaving in ends and stitching pieces together, some fiberfill if it is stuffed, and possibly some small things like safety eyes, a metal ornament hanger, etc.
Ornaments are similar to other amigurumi in that you want to use a smaller hook than what is called for on the yarn label so that the stitches are nice and tight.
If you are working a design in spiral rounds, be sure to use a stitch marker to keep track of where you are.
